What will happen to me when I arrive to the clinic?
As soon as you'll arrive to the clinic and after the check in, we start the process. Meaning that you'll be sedated.
Will I have a private room?
Every patient has their own private room with WC.
What does sedation means? Will I be asleep all time?
Sedation means that you'll be asleep mostly of your time, but you'll be awaken to eat, to drink or to personal hygiene.
What is a Detoxification (Detox)?
A Detoxification process is something beginning with the admission of a drug problem, going through an help demand, a suspension of drug (rapid or classical) and a non drug use posture for the rest of life.
What is Rapid Induction onto Naltrexone (RION)?
A Detoxification process = RION ("physical detox" + naltrexone (just an opioid antagonist) + a drug non user posture.
What happens on my arrival to the clinic?
Be sure not to be withdrawing, join us, perform the clinic bureaucracies, be examined and you will be put asleep.
What is the role of the "care giver"?
The "care giver" is someone you must trust and expose all your doubts. You are strongly advised to have one.
What is naltrexone and how will I take it?
Naltrexone is a opioid antagonist - means that all opioids like substances (heroin, morphine, methadone, buprenorphine, opium, petidine, pentazocine, Dolantil, oxicontin, fentanil, vicontin...) will be neutralized - if you smoke or inject heroin, brick powder or breakfast chocolate will be exactly the same (sometimes you do it, and pay as drug. Happens...)).
What is an Implant?
An Implant is a naltrexone implant that is inserted under your skin. Naltrexone is an opioid antagonist, which means that even if you try to drug yourself, nothing happens (no rush), so... why spend money? And the craving will go away and away.
